The Vivacious 2010 Womens Conference takes place between 13th and 15th of May this year, again hosted by Citycoast Church in Brighton.

This years speakers are confirmed as:

Ruth Schmierer
Excited about sharing her heart and life with you, by the side of handsome husband, Ashley, Ruth enjoys ministering in the Presidency of Christian Outreach Centre. Based in Brighton, UK, she loves to encourage God's beautiful daughters across many nations. Facilitating significant change in mindsets and opportunities for women, Ruth promotes living with purpose, understanding truth and walking in freedom. Says Ruth:

Dr Caroline Leaf
Since 1981, Dr Caroline Leaf has researched the human brain with particular emphasis on unlocking its vast untapped potential. She has been received all over the world by a variety of audiences due to her unique ability to link the scientific principles of the brain to intellectual and emotional issues in a simple and practical way.Through years of research she developed the Geodesic Learning® theory (brain-compatible learning) which is a scientifically and statistically proven approach to thinking, teaching and learning. She has also developed the unique Switch On Your Brain™ 5-Step Learning Process and the Metacognitive-Map® as a learning tool and she has presented her learning theory and Metacognitive-Map courses to more than 100,000 students worldwide. She has published articles in academic journals and consumer magazines and has been widely interviewed in newspapers, on radio and on television about her research and theories. She frequently lectures to both Christian and secular audiences worldwide on diverse topics relating to optimal brain performance including: thinking and learning, controlling your thought life, managing stress, eradicating toxic thoughts, overcoming mental, emotional, and spiritual strongholds, understanding male and female brain differences, wisdom application and identifying your unique gifts.




Debra Green
Debra is the director of City Links, a charity which promotes unity, prayer and action between cities. She is on the pastoral staff team of Ivy Cottage Church, Didsbury, and is a pioneer of prayer and prophetic ministries. She has travelled widely teaching about prayer and outreach for cities and provides consultancy on city-wide prayer and networking strategies which help to transform communities and make mission more effective.




Jenny Gilpin
Jenny has been married to Dave for almost 25 years and shares with him the senior leadership of the 1200 strong Hope City Church, with 5 congregations across the North of England and one in Ghana. She  is also the Executive Director of City Hearts (a rehabilitation charity  for women with life controlling issues) and The Leadership Academy  as well as an author and a mother. With an amazing prophetic edge and a heart of compassion, Jenny’s ministry will lift you up to discover the incredible riches of God’s plan for your life.


Jackie Harland
Jackie and her husband, David, pastor CityCoast Church where she has a passion for evangelism and reaching her city with the gospel. Jackie comes from a long line of missionaries with eight generations who have worked in India. She is a great believer in experiencing the favour and blessing of God and her life is a testament to this. In her down to earth and heart-warming style, Jackie communicates her passionate love for God and people.




Cheryl Upton
Cheryl and her husband, Kevin, planted COC Aberdeen in 1996 and now lead a network of churches in the north-east of Scotland and also in Denmark. Cheryl is a dynamic speaker who communicates in a very relevant way for today’s society. Her motivation is to see people who are hungry to serve God reach their potential.
